(1.3.2) Requesting Data Deletion

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can log into your account and select the ‘Your Account’ section, where you will find the ‘Delete Your Account’ link. Alternatively, email your request to admin@hairandbeautyjobs.uk or send it by post to our address at Englands Lane Business Centre, 47 Englands Lane, Gorleston, NR31 6BE. We will process your request within one month.

Please note: Terminating your account will permanently remove all your data, including applications, saved jobs, and CVs. For applications submitted to third-party employers, you should contact them directly to request data removal.

(1.3.3) Managing Privacy Settings

You have full control over your privacy settings within your account. If you wish to hide your profile and CV from employers or recruiters, adjust your settings accordingly. For concerns about specific recruiters (e.g., your current employer), you can restrict access by adding their details to the blocklist in your account.

(1.4) Sharing Your Personal Information

Hair & Beauty Jobs ensures that any third party using our services for recruitment does so in compliance with GDPR regulations. Personal information may be shared in the following ways:

(1.4.1) Job Applications

When you apply for a job, your CV and contact details are shared with the relevant employer or recruiter. Ensure your details are accurate, as they may impact the outcome of your application. Recruitment agencies advertising on behalf of employers agree to forward your details only with your consent.

(1.4.2) CV Database Access

Unless you choose to hide your profile and CV, employers and recruiters may access your data via our CV database. Hair & Beauty Jobs takes steps to verify the authenticity of businesses using this service but cannot guarantee third-party compliance with GDPR.

(1.4.3) Statistical Information

We may use anonymized data for statistical purposes, such as reporting the number of candidates with specific qualifications in a region. No identifiable information will be shared.

(1.5) Data Retention

Your personal data is stored as long as required for work-finding purposes. Our retention policy includes:

  • Job Applications: Stored for 120 days in your account and the employer’s account before being automatically deleted.
  • Candidate Profiles and CVs: After prolonged inactivity, we will notify you by email. If you do not respond within 21 days (after three reminders), your account will be deleted.

(1.6) Marketing Services and Communications

With your consent, Hair & Beauty Jobs may send job alerts, career newsletters, and promotional emails. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link provided in emails or through your account settings.
